ABOUT ARSLAN AND THE WORSHIP MINISTRY
Arslan Masih is the chairman of Arslan New Hope Ministries and an evangelist, missionary and worship leader. He found his passion for worship when he was about ten years old. Later, when God called him to be a worship leader, he began receiving invitations to lead worship at different churches in Pakistan, where he sang, played the harmonium and taught children how to worship in spirit and truth. Arslan became the worship leader of New Hope Church in Narowal, a village along the eastern border of Punjab. Since then, he has continued to lead worship at various churches in Pakistan.
ABOUT PAKISTAN
Pakistan is a country in southern Asia and west of India. It was part of India when the British Empire existed. When India gained independence in 1947, Pakistan became a separate state comprising West Pakistan and East Pakistan, where most of India’s Muslims lived. In 1971 a civil war between the two parts of the country resulted in East Pakistan becoming Bangladesh and West Pakistan becoming Pakistan. Pakistan left the Commonwealth in protest against Bangladesh becoming a member but joined the Commonwealth again in 1989. The country’s capitalis Islamabad, and its official language is Urdu.
